Project Élevé's Inaugural Scholarship Awarded

Tonight, we awarded our very first scholarship and we couldn’t have imagined a better person to receive it.

When I founded Project Élevé, it was because I knew dancers pour everything into their craft (most devote 80-90% of their lives to it by graduation) and rarely get the recognition they deserve. Tonight, that changes.

Congratulations to Ansley Robinson of Arendell Parrott Academy and Studio 86, our inaugural scholar. Ansley will be heading to East Carolina University to double major in Dance and Psychology, bringing her passion for dance and her drive to make a real difference in Lenoir County. She is exactly the kind of dancer this scholarship was created for: purposeful, passionate, and ready.

I am so proud of you, Ansley. The future dancers in this community are in good hands. I can’t wait to see the difference you make in Lenoir County!

Also, Go Pirates!!
